Dr. Monica Bhula was born in Panama and grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Mississippi. She graduated from the Southern College of Optometry and completed her residency in ocular disease at the Columbia VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
She specializes in the management and treatment of ocular disease as well as pre and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery patients. She also provides comprehensive eye care and fits contact lenses. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and trying new restaurants in Austin. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.
